The Summer Book by Tove Jansson
3.0

I see why people love this. It harks back to a simpler time and a deep connection with nature and the sea. I quite enjoyed it, but it wasn't a page turner - and doesn't try to be. Simple, and such a believable portrait of a 6 year girl and her grandmother and their imaginations on a tiny island over summer.
