I was waiting for Lucian & Sloane's story for so long and now that I've read this book, I can certainly say that they're hands down the best couple in the series! There were so many romantic moments that gave me butterflies! Lucian was one hell of a sexy specimen and in Sloane, he had found his match, I was literally obsessed. I loved Sloane so much! She was sassy, quirky, strong and adorable! The way she gave it back to Lucian with her counter attacks and made him grovell a bit towards the end, made me admire her even more. She always stood by Lucian's side and in return he was doing it all these years too in secret. Lucian might've appeared as a cold aashole but the man had a heart of gold. Knowing what he did for Sloane and her family for so many years, I just couldn't stay mad at him. Lucian & Sloane's relationship was so exemplary and I couldn't help but fall in love with both of them! Despite the book being 500+ pages long, I never felt like it was stretched because I just couldn't get enough of this world. Knowing that this is the last book in the series is bittersweet. All the characters starting from Knox & Naomi, Nash & Lina to Lucian & Sloane will forever be my favourites! I also loved all the side characters, they were all such a nice addition and boosted up the small town charm of the series. Also the bonus epilogue was so heartwarming! Everything about the book right from the chemistry, banter, writing, dialogues to the cover was phenomenal! Which is why this one was effortlessly one of my favourite romance books this year!
