It’s one of those books that’s so absurd you sort of can’t look away. It swung from mildly amusing to dark and disturbing multiple times a chapter, and joked about suicide at least once a page. 95% of the humour in this is delivered using bracketed ad libs, this feels like (and is) lazy writing but also means you require zero brain engagement to follow (I see why it’s popular on  booktok). I’m also no expert in Ancient Greek mythology, but imagine this book has single handedly insulted and desecrated the entire thing to the highest degree. Unfortunately it was kinda fun to read
