I absolutely love love loved this book. I loved the characters, their growth and the world they live in. Eliana is a mood, and the strength that she has to be herself after she's gone through so much is just amazing! Mallrie needs to learn that not every female is a damsel in distress but I love that he does grow as the book goes on. Learning about the elementals and different magic types kept me entertained.. and I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep without having nightmares about the Kailadons (thanks..)

Also the Aussie slang just hit the right spot. 

This is definitely an amazing fantasy read and I 100% recommend it!
