Only two books have gotten me teary eyed in the last 5 years. Crossroads is one of them. You know how you have a feeling while reading but you also hope that you are wrong? Hen that feeling is realized and I’m tearing up like, “Why Devney? Why would you play with my emotions like this?!” All in a good way of course. Crossroads brings you the story of two individuals who meet at children (Indya at 8 years old and West as a 10 year old). Their story spans decades as Indya visits one week each summer the ranch that West’s family owns and runs. Each time they go into the past we learn a bit more of what causes Indya and West to be who they are today. My heart goes out to Indya. She stays strong until that dam just bursts and thankfully West is there for his girl. The epilogue (hopefully) introduces who is the next two main characters in the series. I cant wait!
