Nice, readable book about AI and how it (kinda) works. Pretty good coverage of the different ways it goes wrong: because our AIs are still pretty dumb, because of bad training data, because of racism, etc. in the training data. I think this book would be pretty approachable even if you don't know too much about computers and programming.
