Reader, I Murdered Him by Betsy Cornwell

2.0

I forgot to properly review this when I initially read it, I am giving it 2/5 stars. while I enjoyed the murder/sapphic romance part of text, as well as the the mystery part of the plot, however, I found in certain parts the story it droned on. I also found the way Cornwell connected Jane and Bertha to Bronte's novel to be a bit disconnected. Like she hadn't read the full thing. I know Alice is not fully a part of the story for long in the original text, however, Cornwell might have done well to do a bit more research on the text (and time period). Overall, it was an alright novel.
