I was really suprised with how much I really enjoyed this book. I could not put it down.
Set in middle-of-nowhere Canada, known as Harvest Cove, newbie resident Danny (Quinn?) and his new army-base friends Ash, Pike and Howie run around doing random fun stuff. Oh yeah, and Danny hits on tomboy Ash the whole time...Anyway, one night Danny is mysteriously attacked by some creepy beast of some sort, leaving nothing but a small, insignificant mark on his hand. But later, nightmares and creepy hallucinations begin to plague him. His friends don't believe him until, well, eventually, and so begins a fight between a centuries old nightmare and four teens.

The book was great as it pretty muched played out like a movie. There were definately a lot of romantic moments if you like that at all, as well as very funny moments (As in I thought it was funny/was suprised by how many dirty jokes were said throughout the book). But, of course, by the title, this is a suspense thriller. The short chapters will have you on the edge of your seat, making it impossible to put down. There are some flashback moments that kind of made me lose interest, but it always got right back on track to the main plot soon afterwards.
I definately would recommend this to other teens, it's great all around...in fact, and I'm reluctant to say this, even though it doesn't have any vampires or anything, maybe Twilight fans might like it...? I don't really know. Anyway, five stars.
