I thoroughly enjoyed this. Mortimer's approach is that if you were a time traveler visiting the past, your concerns would be the day-to-day sorts of things: what should I wear, where will I sleep, and so forth. He even talks a bit about cultural relativism - that it's unfair of us to apply modern standards - say, for hygiene - to another era in which they did not even understand germ theory. Highly recommended - I wish there were 12 more of these.
