The Spinning Heart by Donal Ryan

5.0

I loved this book. Just finished it and my heart aches; definitely a reading worth people's time. I liked it and its tones and characters and events. I loved the way Donal Ryan described with simplicity the life of and in a small Irish town and how the important little things come up to the reader's mind. I also loved the fact that it was so Irish-y. This almost made me cry my eyes out. I loved the atmosphere and also the way all the situations are linked between each other. I basically loved this book, because it's particular and deep and made me feel all the important things that really matter in life. It gave a point to start from reflecting about what we have, what we left behind and what we could have if we were just a bit braver than what we actually are without being bossy or too sure about ourselves. Five stars all deserved as deserved were the awards it has won.
