Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto

4.0

A very cute, tidy book. Author builds very relatable, anxious characters, and a lot of book is the humorous interaction of their inner and outer dialogues. Could be trite done poorly, but found myself laughing out loud many times.

Vera, the 60-something Chinese matriarch, is also a fun, not self conscious character. Her interaction with her younger, much more anxious comrades is both endearing and funny.

A light, very well done read. Loved it.
