Never read this book in high school. But Apple Books has a free audiobook, read by Leslie Odom Jr.
Gatsby is “the great American novel” for a reason and it feels good to have finally read / listened to this story.
All the characters are kind of shitty in their own ways but Tom Buchanan is a real piece of shit. Shame nothing bad happens to him. Which I’m sure is the point.
Odom, of course, plays the character wonderfully.
