A great companion to the series. It follows mostly what the first season covered, time and story wise, but also gives an intro to Anne's life and a brief accout of its end.
But beyond that, it was thrilling to see so much of Anne's own words and to follow her story. In my own attempts to find and learn about queer history, Anne Lister was unknown to me before Gentleman Jack. And now, I am delving into more books and podcasts about it, just to be connected more with such a strong, layered and well documented person in queer history.
