The Viscount and the Vixen
by Lorraine Heath
4.5 Stars
This was the sweetest Lorraine Heath I've read so far. Portia and Locksley are trying so hard to not be in love, but they're both so nice that it happens anyway. At first, I was annoyed by Portia's secret, but Heath adds enough layers to justify why she keeps things so close to the chest.
The shining jewel of this book, though, is Locksley's father. A very sweet, somewhat crude old man who may or may not be off his rocker who loves his son to pieces. His relationship with both his son and Portia are the true heart of this book. Utterly precious.
Shoutout to Helen Lloyd for excellent audio narration.
