The Book of Cold Cases
by Simone St. James
This book was a good book. HOWEVER, there were some elements that clearly put it in the “horror”, rather than “mystery” genre. I would not have started reading it if I knew that. Nighttime reading time was not a good time to read this book.
Regular girl likes truecrime podcasts and has a blog. Starts to poke around into an unsolved case from like 30 years ago in her small town. And lo and behold, she uncovers new information and becomes close to the suspected murderer. What a shocking twist.
