Everything I’ve read by Roxane Gay has been a masterpiece, and this was no exception. It’s such a great collection of essays that explains the importance of intersectionality in feminism. She balances assertion with the humility to admit that she can also be wrong, and the result makes it feel like the reader is having a conversation with her.
