The Serial Killer's Wife by Alice Hunter
4.0

This was a good little fast paced thriller! We get Beth who is the wife of Tom and has been for the past 7 years and they have a 3 year old named poppy and have left busy london for a small village in the country where Beth has opened a pottery cafe and they seem like the perfect couple but almost on the outside of the village. Tom doesn’t make much of an effort for the people in the village to like him but Beth wants in and no Matter what she does she’s always on the outside. in till one night when putting poppy to bed Tom is late and there is police at the door looking for him. They say they believe he’s connected to a murder and they take him in, at first Beth is so shocked and acts like she has no idea what is going on. But now the mom group seems to take her in, and she’s getting comfort from the widower with a child the same age as poppy. But as this book goes on we get the POV of Beth and Tom and we learn lots of things aren’t as they seem! And the twist at the end of this book had my head spinning! I enjoyed this fast pace thriller and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!
