Ooooh, I knew it. I knew I would fall for Alessandro 😎 I know most readers are falling for Hoka (book 1), but I'm always for the Italian men 🥵 I so love the Italian language in these mafia books 😁
Alessandro is so perfect. Sure, he is a mafia boss and does everything in his job description 😎, but he still has such a huge heart. But that's what the Italians are when it's about family. He is the perfect father. Did he do everything right with Pietro? Maybe not. But everything he did, he did because he loves him to ☠️ He would ☠️ for him.
The connection between Lily and Pietro... I don't find words to describe it. Perfect isn't enough. They are soulmates. I would even say their love is bigger than the love between Alessandro and Lily 😁 It's incredible.
Lily is such a strong person. And I don't only mean because of how she lives her life after what happened to her. It's not because of her disability. She lost her brother, and he was such an important person for her. But falling for a mafia boss and seeing what he is capable of, yeah, that needs a really strong woman 💪
I loved seeing Hoka and Violet again. And I sooooo loved the banter between Hoka and Alessandro 🤣🤣🤣 They should hate each other (and did), but they are family now and have to love each other. And Hoka always rubs it under his nose 🤣
