The third and final book of the Red Rising Trilogy ends with a bang. I enjoyed this book so very much. It ties the strings together so neatly that you wouldn't have to read the next trilogy after this if you don't want to (the Iron Gold trilogy). Well-thought-out space battles with plenty of violence. Even if you are moving on to the next era of books in the series, this is a fine end to Darrow's story.
From the start, when he was just a lowly red, to the end, where he is among the greatest iron golds, it has been a journey
. I have enjoyed Darrow's character arc he is now one of the better characters in the books, as I almost hated him in the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment, it is the best in a series of great books. This has made me want to stop reading the rest of the books due to being scared they will not be as good. You can draw your ending to the story without reading further, but I must read the other books! This author is GREAT!
