What an emotional, multi-generational story this is! I have been wrapped up in this book for the past two days, needing to know what happened to this family.
Anna is a young, single mother who does the best she can for her son. Louie is a smart, popular boy who lets it go to his head, which leads him down the wrong path. And, Ella is the unnoticed girl, always living in her brothers shadow.
I have laughed and cried so much through this book. It is written so beautifully that I felt like I was part of the family, experiencing all of the ups and downs with them.
