"Okay. Mosscap. I'm Dex. Do you have a gender?"
"No."
"Me neither."

"I wish I could understand experiences I'm incapable of having."

Everyone talking about how this is a cozy, sci-fi, solarpunk, gentle reminder about how you don't have to find some higher purpose to be allowed to just exist...was absolutely right. I cried. And I laughed so hard. "Hot dad" and "whole-ass tree" really got me. Mosscap and Sibling Dex have the most wonderful and thought-provoking conversations and I couldn't adore the two of them any more than I do no matter how hard I tried. The enby rep was so wonderful. I'm head over heels for this book and wishing for a million more. I will be reading all of them.
