Nero and his sweet girl
I've only read the first sleet book by this author and really enjoyed it, so when I saw a tiktok video fir king, I knew I would have to start at the beginning with Nero. He wasn't a disappointment. Nero got what he wanted and payton was his sweet girl. It has a few dark elements but I'm use to reading darker, so I loved his jealous nature, even when it came to king helping him out. I felt for payton, always running scared. Never feeling enough and when she tries to run again after the birthday event, it pulls at you to feel how crushed she feels to discover her heart meant nothing to him. Great story, can't wait to start king.
