I expected the twist of the century after all the hype and what I got was something akin to the Cupid shuffle.

What on earth was THAT? Predictable plot points + convenient wrapping up of others. Plus, I was able to guess too many of the shocks well before their reveal.

Oh it was bad for me in there. I think too much of everything was going on. Then, the “big” reveal held absolutely no weight and felt very anticlimactic.  I think as an author, if you go for multiple twists, they have to be executed incredibly well otherwise you run the risk of diluting the impact of each twist. And we got a lotttt of dilution with this book.

If you gave this one 5 stars, your standards are abysmally low.
