Really sweet and special book for children of all ages (including grown-ups). Thoughtful and almost tactile, lovely illustrations. Everybody needs a rock, and this book too.
This is, however, NOT a "science" book. It is all sorts of good things, but it is not an earth science book or an anthropology book or anything like that. It's philosophical in the way that the best "children's books" are philosophical.
