A Serpent's Tooth by Craig Johnson

The books are so different from the TV series. Longmire in the books is still serious but he's also quite humorous. I miss this dialogue and banter in the series. In this episode Longmire deals with some bizarre and hilarious encounters with runaways, polygamists, and crazy folks. But they mask a deadly conspiracy involving narcoficantes, CIA guys, and crackpots which soon starts producing bodies on both sides. There's a pretty wild ending with some startling revelations in the personal area and as always Henry is Walt's rock.
