Now, normally I wouldn't want to compare two books that are totally different, but... If you were someone who loved Circe by Madeline Miller, then have I got the book for you.
This is a myth retelling that gives voice to a female character who potentially could have been villainized in some tellings.
This is a story about moving through the world as a woman who has little say in the way her life goes, in what it's like to be in a relationship one wouldn't pick for themselves, in becoming a mother and loving your children more than anything. There's a sprinkle of contained feminine rage, and just being a badass.
