Something about me, I'm going to eat up a C.W. Farnsworth sports romance with a strong female lead.

Okay, ngl I completely about this little college/hockey world until I stumbled upon the sequel.

the characters:
I loved Rylan. I thought her name was so cute and we love a little math nerd! If the FMC is super independent and distrustful toward men, um, yes I'm going to love them.

I liked Aidan a lot too. The classic playboy vibe was very fun and I appreciated how aware he was. I feel like we easily could've done a deeper dive into how messed up his family dynamic was.
I liked Hunter a lot. I feel like he may be getting his own book next ??

The Harlow and Conor cameos were so fun.

I kind of wish we knew more about... what was Rylan's ex? It started with a W. And Parker and Jameson + Aidan's parents drove me nuts.

the plot:
this plot was a classic but juicy one! The tutor x tutoree (?) with playboy x introvert. I was super geeked they'd previously met. That made it extra spice.

I loved how fast-paced the book was. I felt like their relationship progressed at a good rate and I liked the hockey tidbits!

Overall, I was hoping for a little more conflict but that's just cause I like drama.

I will note I wasn't a fan of Rylan describing Aidan was so male. That just gives me the ick.

I also DON'T believe Jameson when he says he loves Parker ??? But he was previously cheating on quite recently ?? Like bruh, PLEASE. Parker and Jameson are simply not it. Plus Aidan's parents aren't either.

the book cover:
not really a fan unfortunately!

Overall, this was such a fun read.
