Samantha Young is and always will the my go-to thriller/suspense romance author.
Similarly to her Adair Family series, The Highlands follows secondary characters from that universe as they fall in love.
I loved Aria and North. This book is definitely not for everyone. There’s a lot of miscommunication, inner turmoil and healing from a lot of different intense things. I enjoyed it because we get that closure, that growth and development from the characters. Which is the only way I can actually read these types of books.
I’m so excited to get my hands on the next book! An English actor and a secret bestselling crime novelist team up and fall in love. Count me in!!
