I like rock star romances, but this one bored me. The most interesting aspect of the story is Heather’s relationship with her sister. In terms of Heather and Eli, I didn’t sense any chemistry there. I couldn’t get past my disbelief that a rock star would relentlessly pursue a super fan after sleeping together one time, especially when he knew nothing about her other than the fact that she screamed, “I love you, Eli!” at his concert. They barely spoke to each other. Both characters are likable enough, but Eli’s insta love was just too strong, and I grew tired of Heather pushing him away. Overall, this was just a so-so read.
