Blue Ocean Shift: Beyond Competing - Proven Steps to Inspire Confidence and Seize New Growth by W. Chan Kim, Renée Mauborgne

informative reflective medium-paced

2.5

Per usual with any book I’ve been assigned for my MBA program, the information provided is growing increasingly out of date and fails to keep up with tech and sociological developments. This book would have been helpful pre-2010 but we’re living in a different world. And we are reaching a point where we should be learning about business on a more comprehensive scale.
On a more literary review note, the book relies heavily on out of date business strategy anecdotes to describe theory. Without really going into the theory itself. It’s comes off as a business catch all with no real critical substance.
