This book was heart wrenching from start to finish with no relief in between and impossible to put down. The gravity of this story is too vast for words and is a great reminder for younger generations of what the Vietnam war and the politics and atmosphere afterwards did to affect the ways we think and behave to this day (even from outside of the states). Be prepared to sob your heart out multiple times but also not want the story to end.
