(trying to embrace a one-star review here and there. no one hex me.)
UGHHHHHHH.
I’m so sorry, but I genuinely think that a years-long love story between two characters with almost no chemistry (riddled with lying, cheating, and some of the most insufferable miscommunication I’ve ever read) needs to be built on something more substantial than “girl falls in love at first sight with boy at a bus stop.”
maybe this would’ve felt swoonworthy to me when I was fifteen... but at my grown age? oh, I'd be so embarrassed if I were in this situation.
