Endless Anger by Sav R. Miller is the first book by this author I've read. I have to admit, after the first few chapters, I was tempted to abandon it, but I convinced myself not to and continued, and I'm glad I did. There were many characters from both the Monsters & Muses series and the New Generation, especially at the beginning. For someone like me who hadn't read the aforementioned series, their dynamics and relationships were unfamiliar to me. I felt a bit lost in it all, and at times I felt like I was missing something important. It's definitely a book with a darker atmosphere and themes; there was a lot going on. The writing style was simple, not overly complicated. The spice was deliciously spicing. The plot flowed smoothly and held my interest. I liked how the author combined it with the romance between the main characters, not overemphasizing one over the other, but balancing them well so that one worked hand in hand with the other. I liked Lucy and Asher (Asher a bit more, though) as individuals and as a couple, although there were a few situations where some of their behavior irritated me. I also liked the childhood friends-to-lovers trope, with obstacles along the way, but I have to say I'm not a fan of misunderstandings, and I think an honest conversation would have certainly prevented unnecessary situations and hurt feelings. I was also intrigued by Foxe and Rory; I'd love to learn more about them and their stories. In short, I had a good time reading this book. It didn't blow me away, but it wasn't completely terrible either, and I'll definitely be tempted to read more books from this series and other works by the author in the future.
