I’m still pondering whether the ending was serene or incredibly sad! The pros just draw you in. It’s incredibly readable and before you know it you’ve pulled up a stool and are metaphorically sat at the bar with Maurice, savouring his whiskey and understanding his viewpoints on life. A must read!
