This book was nice. An obvious YA fantasy. I loved the way it was written-beautiful writing. But the povs confused me from time to time. Even tho I know nothing about Japanese mythology and legends, this was easy to catch up on and very intresting and addicting. I also appreciated the glossary at the end. The last 50-ish pages were amazing but something was missing for me. The cliffhanger was mmmm. But I have the whole trilogy on my shelf so we'll see.
