The Empire of a Thousand Planets
by Pierre Christin
Keeping in mind that this comic book series is from the early seventies it has been up to now quite entertaining. The adventures are fun although not in the least complicated. I think it's something I would have very much enjoyed in my pre teen years. I'm looking forward to seeing where the comics lead. If they perhaps get any darker or more complicated as they mature. Which is not a must, I'm just more used to graphic novels specifically written for adults and it does feel like the target group for these s a little younger at the moment. Although that may also just be to do with the time they were written in. The worlds and characters are full of imagination drawing wise but are quite flat writing wise. Fun stuff though!
