Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.

Holy fucking shit this guy is INSUFFERABLE, I'm 23 pages in and he's mentioned his multitude of friends and their personal achievements and their personal tastes in jazz albums multiple times in big fat unnecessary footnotes like WHO CARES MY GUY I got this from the library and I still want a fucking refund
