This is absolutely beautiful.
It's a very simple premise, a writer of graphic novels spends one year with a winemaker, the writer learns about wine and the winemaker learns about books and graphic novels. The end result is a book about people doing what they love, is a book about dedication to art and nature, about pursuing passions, and about sharing such passion with the world. It's also the story of an adorable friendship.
The drawings are simple, and poetic. They manage to transmit so much, and give a true sense of the landscape and the people. I also learned a lot about both wine and graphic novels and want to get more into both worlds.
Outstanding.
