Hex at a House Party
by Gretchen Galway
Alma is requested by the Protectorate to attend a house party and report back. Her curiosity gets the better of her, as well as sort of being blackmailed into going, so off she goes to San Francisco. The party is a week-long affair, with a random bunch of witches, each with their own secrets. After one person winds up dead, the house party turns into a murder investigation. Alma, although not actually a Protectorate agent, decides to look into the murder. Her curious nature takes over, once again. This was a great read. Lots of twists and turns, and it's hard to know who the culprit is! Everyone is hiding something, Alma included. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
