the plot is more serious than the last book. mort was more comedic and reaper man is serious surreal.
the shopping mall storyline was fun and i enjoyed it but it didn't make sense to me and confused me when it didn't completely entangled with the Death storyline. (i mean they were connected but not that much) but when i found out about the rise of the shopping malls and small shops being pushed out of the business in UK at the time of writing this book, it seemed more interesting to me and made more sense.
my favourite part was when the fresh start club were introduced to us. vampires, a banshee with speech impediment, a wereman, a bogeyman with agoraphobia.
i'm glad that there are so many books left in the serie that i haven't read yet so there is so much left to enjoy.
