I liked this book in the beginning and felt so connected to the FMC that I cried for her at one point. Unfortunately, about halfway through the book and onward, i really struggled to finish the book. I liked the idea of the story when it all started, but every scene was getting way too repetitive. Every spicy scene was written the same. Every dramatic scene was written the same. The Maine characters were one dimensional. After a while, it felt like I was just stuck in a book where we were reliving every fight but in different ways. I pride myself in never DNF-ing, but this time, it was really hard. I don't like giving 1 star ratings, so I gave a 2.
