FANS BEAWARE. DO NOT POST ON MY REVIEW CAUSE IT WILL ONLY INCREASE MY REVIEW'S RATINGS. IF YOU HATE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY, KEEP IT TO YOURSELVES.

Long story short, this booked SUCKED. And by that, I mean this is possibly one of the worst books I've ever read. Full of stupid boy drama and a protagonist who can't keep her head straight for less than 2 minutes, this books wins the award for being an epic fail.

Don't get me wrong. I've read Born at Midnight and Awake at Dawn and I really, honestly liked them both, despite its childish, girly and extremely predictable plot "twists". I honestly thought maybe by the third book Kylie would become a mature character, or at least develop into a smartass if not a kickass heroine--but no. Even after being kidnapped by crazy vampires who wants to mate her with his grandson, even after finding out the truth about her real parents and witnessing two grisly murders, you'd think Kylie would change just a wee little bit, maybe become more hard-pressed to find out what kinda supernatural she is and how to help people with her powers and how to defend herself instead of relying 24/7 on Prince Charming(s) to sweep her away, right?

Instead Kylie is still the stupid airhead she was in books 1 and 2 (atleast there her actions were excusable). She is WAY too dependent on Holiday to come save the day, she swears she wants to help ghosts but keeps on ignoring them when they come to her because its oh so painful and oh so cold when they are around *shivers*, and lets not get started with her issues with choosing the 'right' guy. Its almost hilarious how nearly EVERY GUY has a crush on Kylie, and she still can't decide who to choose.

Because you know, finding true love is more important than learning about her abilities, fighting evil vampires, and education. Shoot me already please.

The only reason why I even gave this book a star is because despite its countless flawless (the biggest one of which was a very dull whiny character) there were certain things about this story that I actually liked. The characters for example--nearly everyone except for Kylie (Derek, Lucas, Holiday, Della, Miranda, Perry, Burnett and the evil vamp guy Red)were pretty much likeable.

Easy Solution#1 When Writing A Book That Sucks: Create amazing side-characters with witty and sarcastic humor and throw in two incredibly hot guys to drool over.

*throws book in the trash can* Enough said guys.
