Okay, so I may be a little biased in this review. My mother read this book when having me and named me after Corrie Ten Boom. I first read this when I was very young, I was an avid reader and once I grew bored with the Baby Sitter Club and had devoured lots of Roald Dahl, I started testing the waters with more grown up material. This book is one of the only ones that truly stuck in my mind. It truly changed the way I saw the world. It gave me a huge reality check.
