One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig

5.0

I really enjoyed this. I had anticipated a slower and more brooding novel, and so the other genre elements that this book contains—heist, romance, mystery—really delighted me. Gillig is a deft and fluid writer, and her worldbuilding is lush, her characters are well-drawn, and the plot moves beat-to-beat at an excellent pace. I’m very much looking forward to the conclusion.
