Heartsick

Well, it's sure not going to go down in history as one of my all-time favorites, but I never expected it to. Sometimes you just need a semi-cheesy thriller to read all in one day. It was definitely interesting and exciting and moved along at a good clip, although the writing isn't anything special (I'm not entirely sure 'unperceivable' is a word, although the author used it at least twice) (and her ridiculous focus on Susan's hair being pink was a little much--I think her hair color was mentioned, oh, just about every time Susan herself was mentioned) and the story is sometimes predictable and downright corny/cliched. The Archie/Gretchen thing is an unexpected, creeptastic twist, though.
*Not for the easily scandalized.
