I will say that the twist almost ruined the whole book for me -- but it got sorted out by the end and ended up resolving really well. I really enjoyed the different characters that were present. Please take a look at trigger warnings before you read this book, though. There's a lot of violence and gore throughout, as well as discussion of domestic violence.
