Meh, perhaps it just wasn’t for me. I thought the premise was promising and the pokes at romantasy as a genre with overused tropes fun, but Barbi and her dogs really did annoy the F out of me. Honestly, to the point of rage reading through the end. Like all problematic readers, I liked Nyk. Hoping he doesn’t have a redemption arc and remains a hot garbage person. Parts I enjoyed, mostly was annoyed. Read 1/9/25 - 1/17/25
