A fantastic fantasy set within the realm of vikings and Nordic mythos. The multiple storylines were all entertaining and different from one another, and similar to the ASOIF series is really cool when their stories start to intersect. The fights are excellently written with a lot of tension and visceral descriptions, and the monsters and half-humans are unique enough to not feel too trope-y. I'm super excited to start the next book in the series!
