A story that focuses not just on three different characters, but three different times and plot lines is a tricky thing to do. Most times when I read books with multiple protagonists, I almost always end up with a favorite of the bunch and have the misfortune of being disappointed when the next chapter does not focus on said character. Emilia Hart, however, was incredibly skillful in her writing of these three characters. Not only did I love and enjoy each character equally, but their stories were also so well-balanced that I did not mind when the focus changed. I loved this story and its central theme of womanhood. I also love supporting not only women's rights, but women's wrongs. I would love to reread this story again in the future.
