The President Is Missing by Bill Clinton, James Patterson
4.0

I read this book as a joke. The whole idea of this totally bizzaro Bill Clinton (faithful war hero facing impeachment for his brave, but covert, actions to save American from cyberterrorism) was too much to pass up. There were plenty of moments when they laid it on a bit thick - basically every person in a leadership role is a strong woman (which would be awesome in reality), he stops on his way to save the world to buy a homeless vet a sandwich, and he is fighting a blood disorder that has recently flared up, to name a few - but the story was way more compelling than expected and I finished all 500 pages in a day and a half. I could have done without the lady assassin naming her rifle, the cheesiness was strong with that one. But, all in all, I'll call this one a win for Clinton and Patterson or whoever actually ghost wrote it.
